afaik thats the plan for optimism, would be zk-based. What will be the relationship between Optimism, Base etc others is yet hard to understand

Wouldn’t they all switch to a ZK Rollup? Isn’t that how a super chain works?
I expect them to break off and develop the chain in their own vision. Especially, if they're successful cuz they're still seprate L2's competing with each other. Say in 5 years only OP stack L2's are successful, well they're all gonna start shit talking each other and developing the chain for their own vision to try and get an advantage on their competitors. The 'superchain' term is marketing, imo. We'll see what happens though.
