Comments
- When I was little I was terrified of trucks. My mother convinced me that if I did something bad, the truck driver would kidnap me 🙃
I also thought - until I was 16 - that green peppers turn red when cooked
I can make list of these, but let's don't 😊
- Same for me I guess. But also I thought my uncles and aunts weee just family friends 🥲🤦🏻♀️ lmao
- tbh I never believed it. I was that child convincing everyone he's fake at school
- I used to think that the tooth fairy was real. Whenever my tooth fell out and I placed it under my pillow, I believed that the tooth fairy would actually come and reward me. I held onto this belief for a long time.
- As a child ,I was convinced of some crazy after death stories - God will ask you to walk through a rope kept over a large pool of super hot boling oil.If you have sinned you will fall into that boiling oil and die again 🤣and if you haven't sinned, you will go through that rope and lead to a door to heaven😇
Poor me thought this is so true and scared as shit for that falling into boiling oil part😂
- My mom said the cartoons were fake. I thought everything on TV was fake, like people on the news don't die..
- Katie is my imaginary friend, she used to stay with us every night and I never suspected
- I really thought chocolate milk came from brown cows
- My mom always said when i was little that if i watched to much TV my eyes would get Square😁
- For a long time, I thought men peed inside women to make babies
- When I was a kid, I vividly remember my uncle sharing an extraordinary tale that sparked my imagination! He enthusiastically told me that if I planted a 1 rupee coin in the ground, a magical tree would sprout, bearing fruits that contained coins as seeds! 🌳💰
Motivated by his exciting story, I eagerly embarked on a mission to witness this enchanting phenomenon myself. Every day, with great dedication, I would carefully plant the coin, water it, and eagerly wait for the tree to appear. 🌱💦
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, but alas, no majestic coin-bearing tree emerged from the ground. 😅 Despite my efforts, I soon realized that the story my uncle had shared was just a playful anecdote, a delightful flight of fancy.
However, hidden within this whimsical tale lay an invaluable lesson that my uncle had intended to impart. He wanted me to understand the importance of questioning what I am told and seeking knowledge for myself. 🤔📚
Through this amusing experience, I learned to approach information with curiosity and critical thinking. I discovered the significance of verifying facts and relying on reliable sources. 🌟💡
Moreover, my commitment to daily care and watering for several months showcased my perseverance and dedication. Even though my efforts didn't lead to the magical tree I had hoped for, I understood the importance of patience and resilience in the face of challenges. 🌱💪
So, while my quest for a money-bearing tree may have ended in laughter and disappointment, the lesson I learned was far more valuable. It taught me to be inquisitive, think critically, and embrace resilience, qualities that continue to shape me as I navigate through life's adventures! 🌳🌍😄
- the concrete would somehow pull me.
i honestly didn't know what people meant by that. like, would it pull me towards inside as if it was quicksand? or would it pull me away from my leg and drag me around? would it make me stick to it? i never got the actual meaning. but one thing i knew for sure, i couldn't be laying on the ground.
- 🤣I thought that we can really create eraser by boiling milk with pencil waste 🤣
- I thought it was absolutely the worst luck ever that Lou Gherig, died of ....Lou Gherig's disease.
- I thought the moon was always following me, so I used to race it.
