100%, nobody uses web2 socials because they’re ”in the cloud” despite that being the key enabler for a lot of that, similarly web3 will have to focus on tangible user benefits instead of technology that provides them. My key bets for mainstream web3 adoption are: - Cryptowallets as the next gen ”email” powering not only contact info but ownership and history - Mass-market collectibles (sports/pokémon/etc cards for example) - Interoperable user datapoints (badges, poaps, Lens follows, group memberships etc) powering a wave of new supercharged user experiences (Phaver’s big bet) - Reward mechanisms with sustainable market places that make points more than just points (another big bet for Phaver)
Agree. Blockchain is just the infrastructure & the media, not the main goal.
