At the present moment AI cannot be considered an artist because it cannot create art by itself but rather is used as a tool by humans to create something.

Hey @mazemari.lens, I gotta say I don't totally agree with you. We humans get inspired by art to create more art, and AI does the same. Sure, AI makes art based on patterns it learns from data, and it can do it super fast and with style. But I think art is all about inspiring people, if it cannot do that then it is just another drawing.
