The network switching must go. Surely there is a simple solution for moving small amounts of funds between networks instantly and without switching network

- what do you exactly mean by network switching? an approval in Metamask that you switch from, e.g. Arbitrum to Polygon?
I think that will soon be gone. just have a look at other wallets like Rainbow and Zerion.
- does any IRL user care about networks/chains? Service levels/quality and cost of course. imho users shouldn't be bothered with everything more technical.
- https://avocado.instadapp.io kind of solves this in an elegant way, with the usdc unified gas reserve

- ‘What’ chain we’re interacting with needs to become second nature. We shouldn’t have to think about it
- Burn the bridges! Yeah should be solved.
- Frame wallet?
- Yes if possible no gas fees for small amounts which can bring millions of transaction
- We need the Ethereum App to be the focal point, with chains & bridges abstracted away from the user. This way, rather than burdening newer users in particular with the tyranny of choice - surely one of the biggest barriers to mainstream adoption - I instead envisage individual apps selecting the DA and execution layer/s best suited to them, then competing for users on how well they optimise for this. So whilst Ethereum remains the settlement layer in this scenario for all the benefits that have made it so popular, the stack effectively gets flipped upside-down to become app-centric - much like what users are used to when using eg, Instagram on iOS or Android. After that, maybe we can start calling them dApps!
- hey/lenster could start by stopping making me switch to polygon all the time, even when I dont use any funds
- this is a step in the right direction
- A very good idea.
- Is that even possible 🤔
If yes that would be nice 🙂
- We are waiting for it
- I did notice how it sort of disrupted the flow, maybe a dedicated browser for lens.
