You are absolutely right, reducing the concept of fashion to only creating garments and accessories is ridiculous, especially because fashion primarily emerges to complement an individual's presence; fashion is fashion because those who wear it match what they carry. Clothing needs a specific way of being worn in each case to have life; it needs a soul. It is absurd to focus only on the set of garments as if it were this that made the individual when it is the individual who makes the set.
