Lol Is this true? I am wondering who would pay this much money for something they could literally lose if they don’t adhere to the exaggerated rules impo

Ofc it’s mainly speculation at this point, but remember before Elon took over - short, recognizable, generic handles could easily change hands for low 5 figures. Generic handles are instantly recognizable as “the” niche leader. For instance an account on IG @wealth has 8.5M followers, that particular demographic is especially relevant to business/corporate accounts who would pay top dollar to get in front of 8.5m targeted users, @wealth could charge whatever they like for a sponsored post because well “where else would you find this large of a targeted demographic that could be easily reached.” You’d be hard pressed to find the same ROI due to where people are spending the vast majority of their time nowadays. I can see how many builders would see the immediate value of paying $50k to build “the” authoritative thought leader in that space. No different than a commercial real estate lease, you pay the owner for the usage of said prime real estate, but the owner knows they aren’t making any more new land (i.e there can only be 1 @wealth account).
