Comments
- Artifact had all the right ingredients and still flopped 🤔
- 2.6B raised and 600 units sold...
- Google Nexus: typical Google product of the time. too early, too confusing, or simply unnecessary
Google Reader: THE feed reader. the power user tool. I was mad at Google when they killed it. the first real cracks in my relation to the company
Google+: iirc, I was about the only one who loved it, preferred it to Facebook. did I mention that I loved Google at one time?
Uber IPO: yeah, drama
Facebook phone: every freaking company was about to build a phone. Facebook as well. oddly, several companies chose HTC (actually, I liked their phones)
Google Daydream: <sigh>Google </sigh>
SOPA and PIPA: I think it was the first (and last?) time internet users (and the companies most profiting from it) came together and resisted. good times (not SOAP and PIPA, of course!
Android tablets: a drama
Hyperloop: Elon at work, overpromising
Windows 8: I got mad at my parents for buying a machine with this piece of crap OS
Apple antennagate: typical reaction from the fruit company: "you're doing it wrong"
BlackBerry: was about to buy one back in the day. however, I was not THE business guy
Apple Maps: didn't have a look at it in recent years. I think it's the first Apple product that makes them feel like Google. trying hard but never catch up
Apple Butterfly: Apple doesn't do anything wrong 😉 so they kept up the keyboard for quite some time
Google messenger: or how many messenger products can you build, re-build, rename, and have running at the same time? wild
Google Glass: probably 10 years too early, unfortunately
and someone mentioned it: where's Google Wave? it was freaking promising, too complicated probably, but hell, I was excited about it
- Not in their list but I was thinking Google Wave
- how did MiniDiscs not make this list?
- The concept of privacy sounds vaguely familiar 🙃
- flappy bird 😮 now we have @thefriendly.lens lensbird 🌿
- google+ with that circle concept actually was good.it was way ahead of it's time. essential phone was awesome too the pure android on a solid piece of hardware. and i miss a golden age of nokia phones too awesome designs good plastics really well made hardware and yet software was the bottleneck they should have go for the android instead of win phone and those self made linux based OS which they changed name of it every year .
- Google+. The social graveyard is ***massive***
- I had a cool slim minidisc player with a corded controller and used to show it off a lot 😎. Seriously though it was the future of portable music
- orkut by google
- look cool!
