This 💯. People def tend to overcomplicate things mainly bc they are overwhelmed with all the different information (products). Keeping basic rules, i.e., working out regularly and having a solid foundation regarding your nutrition brings you in a really great spot to become old and stay healthy along the way. Following my intuition and living the Pareto principle works like a charme for me here.
