Post by @dcinvestor • Hey
i will share some blunt feedback since i'm a new user on Lens with fresh eyes and would like to see it succeed:
the sign-in UX via @lenster.lens is totall
Comments
- i will add the problem is made even worse because if a user switches back to Ethereum Mainnet, then it logs them out of @lenster.lens
i am aware i could us some workarounds, like using a different browser for Lens, etc., but 99% of users won't bother
anyway, i'm sharing this in love. hope to see continued evolution and improvement here ❤️
- very much appreciate the feedback @dcinvestor.lens delegated access on the protocol side is something that is actively under development. As for the various UIs there are a few different ways they can persist logins etc, @orbapp.lens @phaver.lens & @lenstaxyz.lens have great mobile experiences that keep you signed in, and I know the @lenster.lens team is working on ways to improve the experience on their app as well!
- I'm using Orb on my mobile and sign in via Metamask on the phone once. I've got this lens handle nft in a hot wallet though, as I cannot use the ledger with Metamask on the phone. With Orb Lens is like Twitter wrt to logins.
- My sign-in experience is fine but if this is going to be a "blunt feedback" thread then...
We really need those custom feed algos. Even a filter like "exclude posters where their content = pic + (< 100 chars) AND their Replies # are < 10% of Publications #" would be great 🙂
- Try @orbapp.lens
I really only started using lens ecosystem once I started using orb. Hit me up in dm if u need an invite, have one more to give
- great to hear delegated access is on the roadmap @davidev.lens
- Totally agree with that, try to also add Magic link for user that don't have any private keys
- @orbapp.lens is way more user friendly, you should give it a try
- Yeah there really needs to be an option to delegate to a different address.
- I agree and it's likely why I don't use the platform as much as I would otherwise. It has to be seamless and quick in order to gain the mass adoption needed. I do enjoy my time here when I do use it. I thought maybe I was the only one with that type of thinking.
- goodlucky
- Try @orbapp.lens. I'm really enjoying the experience!
