On centralized platforms you can NEVER guarantee your content is really removed after you demand it to be. There are soo many cases where it didn't happen! Including on websites like porn and dating where users were blackmailed with content they asked to be removed. The difference is that on blockchain you at least know this is not an option, but it natively gives you the opportunity to griptograph the content for your exclusive access. So no, you can't never trust that any centralized app is deleting your content from their own database simply because you don't control it.

There's a new dimension of permanence (especially in the context of ipfs, arweave, filecoin etc) that we just haven't really gotten our hands dirty with as societies yet
