Yeah, purchasing rules get funny with Apple. They allow the sale of non-digital goods in-app without needing to use Apple in-app purchases, and therefore taking their cut. This allows Zappos to sell you shoes without it. It’s also technically possible to buy/pay to collect NFTs in a web browser inside of an app, but the app’s browsing experience needs to be general purpose, and not specifically for buying NFTs. For example, on iOS, you can use MetaMask or Trust Wallet’s dApp browser to connect to Lenster and pay to collect posts as NFTs.
