I think it’s a few things. People not knowing what app to use / minting online not knowing you can have a mobile app. People telling their friends get one but the friends don’t know what to do after getting one and possibly since it’s a new thing some people want to see what happens and slowly start adding to the conversations. Not to mention many of these people might be “bots” that have been “waiting” to get a lens profile but the want nothing to actually do with it
maybe people with fomo that created a lens profile because who knows what could happen in the future 🤷🏽♂️
No comments re your question but the numbers look very off. Past days every day more than 10k pubs. Sorry. You can easily look at the data yourself from bigquery rather trusting some random provider. Unlike other protocols, lens data is readily available for all and also packaged nicely.
