It reminds me of the early days of React.js. Its non-opinionated approach is what allowed it to triumph over Google's Angular.js and Meteor at the time. Consequently, it now powers the majority of modern websites. Good move, @lens/stani.

I really appreciate the way Farcaster has managed it. They've opened it up for everyone, operating on a subscription basis. For example, I minted my profile for a year at $ 10. If I lose interest in Lens after a year, I won't renew it. If a user chooses not to renew their profile, it will be marked as inactive after a month or two. Adding a minimal fee ensures there are fewer spam profiles (though not a foolproof solution), and yearly profile renewals reflect the user's commitment and seriousness.
