Agree 100%. This feature has only brought in people who are in it to make some cash at the expense of genuine potential users who can't get a handle
one wouldn’t sell their personal profile, but if they build up a meme account or brand, they can sell or rent out access to it. example @lensclubs.lens is like a group-owned Lens account. anyone in the group can post to it - possible due to the modularity of lens protocol
Eg: if I grew my profile really well. Say 100k. People like and trust me. Someone offers me a million for my profile, which I cannot resist. Now new owner exploits and scams my followers …
