Not to mention monetization. During time of struggle I was able to offer collectibles all of '23 + help pay a few months of rent due to the options provided across @lens/orbapp @lens/hey @lens/ornaart @lens/lensport. If something isn't instantly changing the lives of creators I don't have time for it. We've had a 10+ year case study of what doesn't work a la IG/Twitter. You've had plenty of time to bring good ideas to the table. Launching an app that only a privileged few are able to upload videos in is some 2013 shit when I had to HACK Instagram to post one. That said, I guess we're seeing the ongoing case study of "put money in influencers pockets & they become cheerleaders" for new apps instead of organic growth by people taking a chance like all the fine folks I find myself surrounded by here 🤷♂️
They've managed to capture a high quality subsection of web3 social interaction though. They did something right and it would be in Lens' best interest to figure out what that is. The better product doesn't always win. I say that as someone entirely invested in Lens' success
