Would you give all your lifelong data to AI if it could improve your life and productivity by multiple factors?
Comments
- If it was kept private, maybe.
I wonder if this will be the way how we can become immortal. Give enough data to the AI to recreate our brain as an artificial neural network.
- If the AI was locally hosted, possibly airgapped and I’m 99% confident there wouldn’t be any third order negative effects.
- Yes if it’s inherently private / local
- easily
- I think so. I'm just an ordinary person, and I don't think my data should be excessively exploited. Not to mention the fact that I've already given all my personal data for free to Google and Meta anyway.
- If it were either local to me or decentralized secured by a key I controlled then yes tomorrow.
If it was owned by a global company... Yeh probably but I'd moan about it just like we do now with giving all our data to Google, meta, Amazon and Microsoft.
- If that includes also medical history for prevention and research, why not?
- I would not; as a human, I would like to be partially dependent on technology.
- Imagine AI having details of complete existence of a living individual. Hmm..sounds cool but creepy too. This should be a really delicate decison. If i say yes, then AI could actually use them to improve productivity in many ways. But this is where i see mankind submitting to machines. I believe there are other multiple ways we can make AI productive and improve man's life without unnecessarily letting it lead the way or giving it this much power.
- I doubt it... It would be great to have options what data to provide depending on where you want productivity to be improved.
- If it will improve my life and productivity yeah I would, as long as it doesn't affect my wallets and bank account.
- Yes if that AI only works for me
- If it means I can retain access to my data or it's maintained via some sort of zero-knowledge system (not sure if this is possible), I would immediately accept.
Forking over all of my information (especially health-related) to a centralized monolithic organization might deter me ...
- Hello.
To a personal local AI, possibly.
To an AI controlled by a company, no.
Cheers.
- I'm pretty sure the computer network that hosts its servers would catch on fire. I have OCD and ADHD all in one, coupled neurotic hillbilly stubbornness I was born with. I'm pretty sure even AI servers won't be able to process all that.
- What can AI do for a Homeless, Hopeless and Hungry men? 😊
- no
- no, there is too much risks imo
- Very confused, it has good and bad sides.
- for me, no
- lol no boss I would rather give it a 95% 🤣
- If it is private yeees!
- Most people don’t care and will share it for even a minor gain lol
- Naahhh
- Idk, but its a control . 🙌
- Haha,love
- Please don't play like that
- no I wouldn't do that in any siuation. if AI can do all the house work, then it would improve my life already, I don't need it to do anything else, and I think that shouldn't require my lifelong data right?
