Today we decided to present you a short analysis of the activity that takes place on the @SuiNetwork. We think it will be quite interesting - numbers alway
Comments
- 3.1 / As of December 15, 2022, according to "developerreport", #SuiNetwork was ranked 21st in terms of the number of developers in the ecosystem rankings.
- 1/ The first wave of Sui #Testnet was launched in November 2022, and the second one started at the end of January 2023 and their results are really impressive
- 4/ It is worth noting that the #Sui ecosystem showed the most rapid growth in the number of active developers, starting from July 2022, so that within a month there was almost a twofold increase followed by growth up to November 2022
- 7/ Thousands of transactions from more than a million unique addresses are made daily in the #Sui ecosystem, and that's just on the #Testnet network
- 3.3/ Meanwhile, it was the #Suiecosystem that showed the biggest increase over the period with 829%, followed by #Aptos with 755% The chart below shows the comparison of Sui with other ecosystems in terms of number of developers

- 2/ As you can see from the illustration below, a total of 32,719 nodes from 80 countries were running in both #devnet and #testnet from their beginning. The highest concentration of nodes looks to be in Western Europe, with Germany in the lead
- 6.1/ Despite some decrease in the number of developers in December, the volume of total commits showed a positive trend and amounted to 4,116 commits as of December 15, which includes only original codes excluding forks and bots
- 6.2/ A total of 177,510 commits were made by developers over the entire period
- 3.2/ Thus, the #Ethereum ecosystem was in first place with 5,734 developers, followed by #Solana with 2,082, #Polkadot with 2,015, #Cosmos with 1,779 and #Polygon with 1,102
- 5/ This increase and further slight decrease was caused mainly by the activity of part-time developers, whose number began to decline, giving way to full-time developers
- 8/At the time this article was written, there were 41 #validators running in the system with a calculated APY of 24.76% and the total volume of stacked test tokens was over 1 million. And all this despite the fact that the ability to #stake was added just a couple of weeks ago
