This is a wrong statement. You probably don't know how supply and demand works. It is like telling to Toyota factory to produce an unlimited number of cars. It would not take long for the price to fall below production costs and for Toyota to go bankrupt. This is just about a public good or commodity, but art is not a public good and it is not necessarily for everyone. If there were 10,000 Mona Lisas, people from all over the world would not line up for hours to see this work or value it as highly. In the case of art, supply is always limited, but the artist must strive to increase demand, not create an unlimited number of editions of his or her work.
