There’s a much faster way to get people on board:
Build useful/fun apps which use NFTs as data.
Reddit Avatars and Starbucks Odyssey are perfect examples

- Ryan, thank you for sharing your thoughts!
I completely agree with you. You've shared some fantastic ideas.
But, using Lens as an example, people will still need to create a wallet, apply for an allowlist, or purchase a username from OpenSea. This means more interactions with the blockchain, which for some is a little complex right now, primarily because they are afraid of it, rather than because it is truly complex.
As someone who is just getting started in this space, I believe there is a need for more curiosity to join Lens.
Regarding your thoughts on Reddit and Starbucks, I completely agree. There are and will be simpler and more appropriate ways to onboard people into NFTs. However, my comment was mostly about how to get artists to embrace NFTs and AI. We need to make them work with NFTs and AI rather than just use NFTs.
The ideas you've presented are fantastic, but I believe there is still a need for something more to encourage artists to work with NFTs. Onboarding people is fantastic, but to persuade artists who are afraid of them, you must educate them on what an NFT is and how it can benefit them. Furthermore, I believe that forcing artists to use NFTs without their knowledge will hinder their integration into the space. How can they work with something if they are unaware of its existence?
I'm not saying we need preachers to talk about their decentralization and such, because that might make things more difficult, and I am not a fan of tech stuff either. However, we need someone to speak about their experience with NFTs. Someone from their branch. Consider the photographers who are afraid of or dislike NFTs as a result of the influences I've mentioned. What impact do you believe a video of you explaining your experience with NFTs would have on them? I'm guessing that 8/10 will have the curiosity to learn more.
This is what we need to attract more artists. We need preachers to talk about their experiences and fundamentals, which will eventually instill the necessary curiosity in artists to join the space.
As I previously stated, this is about making artists work with NFTs rather than onboarding people into NFTs.
But, these are just my thoughts.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts once more! I appreciate you, Ryan!
