Really interested to see how this plays out. I don't think the incentives for apps are in favor of adopting this, however it's obviously better for users.

I agree it will be fascinating indeed to watch how this all pans out, however, I do think the incentive would be favorable for apps to adopt. It would keep users inside the app builders' ecosystem that they've worked and/or paid to acquire. You would still see Posted from "APP" to continue with discovery & distribution, but again that's an optional req. for builders now, I can only see that tag/label diminishing with increased competition, unfortunately.
