To play devils advocate, or just plain contrarian, will this ultimately lead to siloing of ideas and self-fulfilling echo chambers? I say this only partial

To me the headline is we will be part of multiple internet spaces not just one echo chamber and the hope is that removes any self fulfilling echo chamber. More communities will still encourage exposure to diverse perspectives. But of course just like on big platforms today there will be a minority of echo chambers that form. Want to remain positive!
@christina.lens I quite like the way apps like @diversehq.lens are both creating smaller communities but not tucked away unavailable to everyone else. I don’t think we’ve quite worked through the UX chaos and confusion this can create but hopefully we’ll get past those issues and get the best of both worlds.
I think people are underrating the value prop of AI here. Just as Ethereum, Polygon, and Lens are protocols…AI will not only develop and utilize protocols, but I’d expect emergent protocols to form from AI. Imagine Siri becomes actually useful and is powered by an LLM. You could ask for a summary of your socials, and even ask for a breakdown between real friends vs coworkers vs internet people vs “news” and it will grab data from Facebook/IG/Twitter/LinkedIn/Lens and display the summary in a format in which you don’t care what data came from what network or database. You see Alice got a new puppy, Bob a new job, Putin started another war, and Grimes put out a new AI collab that’s gone viral.
