I guess the better way of "spending" the capital would have simply lowering the AL mint price this way both scalpers and hodlers get to benefit from the lower mint price, and if the AL is done properly (it is not but no project does it well anyway) you can be happy more hodlers get to benefit from the lower mint price if they realized they were in deep shit post minting period there are still better ways to do it, like cutting supply, airdropping free nft to minters etc
