I checked online, and oil revenues are less than what I was expecting in some of the Middle East countries. Climate change could be a problem too, but maybe we won't be there then.

Was just telling a neighbor how Dubai's leaders were able to use some of the neighboring Emirates oil (and it's own small reserves to) to bootstrap an insane city in the middle of the desert, selling land to foreign investors and developers, build ports and airports to position it as a global logistics hub, create tax free zones for trade, diamond and gold centers, now crypto, and the list goes on. Truly business and government leaders should take note of what's truly possible.
They should be wise to gradually discarding reliance on this Non-renewable resorces and turn to tourism and exportation when they have enough capitals
