The Puzzle People by Thomas Starzl is one of my favorites. Truly amazing memoir written by a pioneer in the field of transplant surgery. Many developments made in this field have changed healthcare as we know it today.
The richest man in Babylon ✨
Empire of Cotton by Sven Beckert, good overview on how cotton was a global currency, made some nations wealthy and some poor. You can replace cotton with any future or present currency or medium and see similar effects in value transfers between people.
it’s so hard to pick my favourite! the untethered soul by Michael A. Singer is definitely up there
Moderato Cantabile is a good one too by Marguerite Duras 💜
mine is Rebecca Daphne Du Maurier 💜
ah tough one! non-fiction: Daring Greatly by Brené Brown fiction: The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde
Foucault’s Pendulum - Umberto Eco
Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman
The Willpower Instinct, at least the best of what I've read recently
“The World Is Sound: Nada Brahma” Music and the Landscape of Consciousness By Joachim-Ernst Berendt

The Psychology of Money
Freedom From The Known - J.Krishnamurti
Thus Spoke Zarathustra - Nietzsche
1984, by George Orwell
The fighting agents is up there as well.
mine is 1984 by George Orwell
Slow Horses (Slough House #1) by Mick Herron got me back into reading a few years ago. The Slough House series is rip-roaring fun and one of the few series where I'd finish one and immediately start the next one in the series. Brandon Sanderson's The Way of Kings is an excellent introduction to epic fantasy that will give you the *feels*. For those nonfiction fans, Stealing Fire by Steven Kotler is an excellent read on finding flow state and how that affects team dynamics.
Rich Dad, Poor Dad too. A very interesting and life changing book.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
