This is an interesting question, but something similar was said when they invented the camera, but it is still an important debate. In the 1930s a guy wrote The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction, it might be a good basis to see how this discussion develops over the decades.
Can they find a way to live in harmony?
