- It’s an interesting idea to use your social graph as a tool for curating your feed. I suppose to we’d also need an override function(or AL) if, for instance, you don’t want to follow @lame.bot and I do.
If we flipped the whole thing on it’s head and called them trustNFTs, would it also work as a means of having your social graph verify a quality accounts?
These NFTs could probably be done by a 3rd party if we wanted to implement is quickly, but imo it would be preferable if it were integrated as a property directly in the follow NFTs. The great thing about NFTs is that they can hold data and rn, the protocol is not really taking advantage of that. And being able to toggle a “trust” or “inhibit” property directly from a users account would be easy on users.
- Well said & nice food for thoughts. I was thinking an opt-in/opt-out feature combined with other customization options could create a more tailored and user-friendly experience. For example, users could choose to opt-in to inhibit/block certain types of content (e.g. spam, hate speech, etc.), while opting out of others 🤔
