- I was going through this before, but I realized this: When people speak my native language, I don't look at their accent or mistakes, I just try to understand them, so when I speak English, I express myself without worrying too much about the accent or sentence structure. And when they correct my mistakes or accent, it doesn't make me nervous, sometimes it even motivates me, I don't know if that's a good thing but lol
- I’m always shy to speak another language!! I listen way more than I speak.
- I lived in Spain for a few years when I was in grade school. Technically I’m pretty fluent…but I’m always nervous when speaking Spanish. The only thing that helps seems to be alcohol or anger 😂

- with more and more talking you can see this is not a major problem. we are living in a 8 billion people world with many many different culture and language. it's great we can communicate with each other and that's enough imo.

- I experience this sometimes too, but it's probably because I don't practice enough. You need to talk out loud a lot with someone who speaks English 🫶🏼

- Hmm it sometimes happens to me too. It’s usually when the stakes are high to impress someone from a personal or business perspective. What I’ve seen is actually that by knowing less, I’d be more confident. My Spanish is not perfect / maybe a decent B2 so I don’t get all the nuances when saying something which might or might not upset someone, but because I don’t know the nuance itself from the beginning, it can’t make me feel anxious about how that person might feel when communicating on a particular subject
