Yup, these end up being around ~2,000 different images that get thrown together for each one. And the underlying datasets end up being around 4-10million r

But ofc I'm using a library to make it easier to turn the many images into a .gif or video. I'm using this R library which I've been using for a long time now: https://gganimate.com/ there's other alternatives, but this one has the best smooth transitions, and without that it comes out much worse imo
